Cartier's: Le Style et L'histoire at the Grand Palais

The Grand Palais in Paris will be exhibiting a carefully curated exhibit of over 600 fabulous pieces of jewelery and timepieces beginning on December 4th through February16th, 2014. This exhibit will trace Cartier's history from it's founding in 1847 through to the 1970's.
Curated by Laurent Salomé and showcasing pieces on loan from the Cartier Collection and private collectors from all over the world; This exhibit will be the largest to date for Cartier, and will share it's famous French history as well as it's close connection to the British Royal Family "Cartier, the jeweler of kings is the king of jewelers" -Prince of Wales.
Diamond's have always been synonymous with Cartier, from the aquisition and sale of the Hope Diamond in 1910 to the tiara worn by the Duchess of Cambridge for her wedding to Prince William, Cartier has had such an illustrious history that will inspire and mesmerize you.
